Sales Team Q1 2025: Delivering Performance Through Partnerships

Under the leadership of Marwan Haddad, Corporate Director of Sales, and a dynamic team comprising Simsim Jayasenan, Shadi Malhas, and Salman Al Wardi, the Sales division delivered a strong start to 2025. Their efforts have driven solid commercial gains through strategic exhibitions, client engagement, and regional outreach.

Key Performance Highlights (Jan–Mar 2025):

  • 1.13 million room nights sold — up 7% YoY
  • 1.52 million overnight guests — a 6% YoY increase
  • 600+ global accounts and 45+ regional accounts actively managed
  • 30+ connected channels accounting for 19% reservations, 21% RM nights, and 30% revenue
  • 3% increase in market share (RGI)
  • 12% RevPAR growth and 13% TRevPAR growth

Strategic Initiatives and Achievements:

  • Regional DMC workshops conducted in the UAE and KSA, strengthening trade relations
  • Client Appreciation Weeks held across UAE markets, reinforcing key partnerships
  • Strong presence across global exhibitions including WTM, ITB, SATTE, JTTX, NUSUK, ATM, IELTM, MITT, and FHS, showcasing the portfolio to a global audience
  • Participation in major regional tradeshows to boost B2B outreach
  • Onboarding of new POS partners in USA, Russia, GCC, China, and India, expanding reach and booking opportunities
  • Commercial capability building through the Revenue Management Certification (10 members) and Business Acumen Certification (6 leaders)
  • Rollout of the IDeaS G3 RMS, aligning data insights with commercial planning
